Newly constructed in 2004, The Grateful Dog Kennel has been a life fulfilling aspiration of Owner Shelly Frohn. “I worked at a veterinarian clinic for 2 years and I loved it. I planned this well in advance – knowing the Grateful Dog Kennel would allow me to work from home and raise my family.”

Originally a Christmas tree farm, the Grateful Dog Kennel has abundant sights and smells to intrigue your dog and allow him to feel like it’s his adventure too.

Using the latest designs, The Grateful Dog Kennel features 8 foot by 4 foot rooms – instead of cages. “The dogs seem to like their rooms over standard cages – it makes it feel much more like home…” comments Frohn. The dogs also enjoy the two Free Roam Areas and spacious 8 foot by 6 foot outdoor runs.
